I want out esta dentro del tercer disco de la banda alemana de power metal Helloween, 'Keeper of the Seven Keys Pt2' en 1988 (en 1993 sería reeditado conjuntamente con el Keeper of the Seven Keys Pt1, incluyendo dos canciones nuevas) . En ese momento, la formación del grupo era: Michael Kiske (Voz), Kai Hansen (Guitarra), Michael Weicath (Guitarra y teclados), Marcus Grosskopf (Bajo) y Ingo Schwichtemberg (Bateria).
Fue escrita por Kai Hansen, y en cierto modo, cuenta un pensamiento real de este, quien queria buscar otros proyectos y dejar la banda cuando la compuso (de ahi el titulo 'I Want Out')
La introduccion es una de las partes mas caracteristicas de la canción, y se repite al final del tema.
La canción fue (y sigue siendo) tan popular que llegó a ser versionada por grupos de la talla de Gamma Ray o Hammerfall.

Pues yo creo que no habla de que él se quisiese ir de Helloween. Simplemente habla del sistema en el que vivimos, en el cual siempre se repite la misma historia...vamos, solo hay que leer la letra, jeje. Además, un poco canteo hacer este tema, grabarlo con Helloween, y que lo cante Kiske...no tiene mucho sentido!
ResponderEliminarEn realidad nadie aparte de Hansen sabemos lo que le llevó a escribir esa letra, lo que si que se, es que lo que yo puse en el artículo lo dijo él mismo en una entrevista xD
ResponderEliminarEs lo normal cuando una canción habla genericamente de algo, que puede llevar a interpretaciones muy distintas por parte de cada persona que la escucha
