Incluída en el 2º disco de Extreme 'Pornograffitti' en 1990, More than Words se convirtió en la canción mas famosa del grupo de Massachusets. El grupo estaba compuesto por Gary Cherone (Voz), Nuno Bettencourt (Guitarra), Pat Badger (Bajo) y Paul Geary (Bateria).


La canción fué escrita por Nuno Bettencourt y Gary Cherone y tiene una duración de 4:15 minutos. Se convirtió en el tema mas exitoso del grupo, un gran éxito que no volvió en ningun otro momento para el grupo.

Muchos grupos y cantantes (como Westlife) versionaron la canción, una de las mas conocidas de su época, sobre todo en EEUU y Reino Unido.

La canción explica de la necesidad de un hombre de que la persona a la que quiere le demuestre su amor con "mas que palabras", y llegó al nº 1 en varias listas de éxitos, algunas de ellas de importante relevancia
